Pierce the Veil is an American post-hardcore band known for its emotionally charged lyrics, intricate guitar work, and genre-blending sound that incorporates elements of punk, emo, and alternative rock. Formed in 2006 in San Diego, California, the band was founded by brothers Vic Fuentes (vocals, guitar) and Mike Fuentes (drums) after the disbandment of their previous group, Before Today. Soon joined by Tony Perry (guitar) and Jaime Preciado (bass), Pierce the Veil quickly developed a unique style characterized by Vic’s soaring, expressive vocals and the band’s dynamic instrumentation.
